It is matter of personal pride and pleasure to bring forth this project to your kind attention. As a matter of fact, we are supposed to take each single day as very dear and precious. There is this need to begin it with some resolutions and then to call up the day with meticulous cross checks, where in credits to every single accomplishment and warning to each failure. If needed, even red lights for those activities which are uncalled for to be practiced. However out of sheer ignorance and laziness, many of us fail to feel and realize its significance. There are few who do feel the need of such cross check activities on daily basis but endless miscellaneous activities of the day keeps at bay, long enough to forget those minor yet crucial activities.
Luckily, we are habituated of making resolutions and cross checks on special occasions like New Year, Christmas and on 1st day at office, school, and college. Few even do it on their birthday. Even though, I am not a great practitioner but this time, I thought of setting one which I should have long time back, something that has been bothering deep down within me. And that is, to build a bridge between THOSE WHO ARE WILLING TO HELP OTHERS AND THOSE WHO ARE IN NEED OF HELP.
His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet has always shown his genuine appreciation towards Christian brothers and sisters for their relentless and unwavering community services and also on many occasions, has urged Buddhist monks and nuns to follow the suit. Having spent my last few years as a college student and later becoming a monk, I have observed and heard the hardships faced by both communities. The rising cost of basic needs like food, clothing, shelters, stationary and of course, the college fees continue to add woes and bring further misery. It is extremely hard for them to cope up with the straining demands leaving them in dire straits. So taking into consideration my background and the diverse social network that has been bestowed on me, I strongly feel that I can be of best service by connecting those who wish to help and those who sincerely need, rather than want, help.
